In short
A training plan file under the Special Training Contracts (CSF) starts from a needs diagnosis, turns into precise actions (objectives, participants, durations, costs) and must be filed before delivery, following the GIAC / OFPPT process. Training delivered without a prior file cannot be covered.
1. Diagnose the needs
Link every training need to a skill gap against the company’s strategy and its jobs. The diagnosis is what justifies the plan: it must show why these courses, for these people, now.
2. Write up each action
For each action: title, measurable objectives, content, target group and number of participants, duration, planned dates, training provider and cost. A vague action is the first reason a file is sent back.
3. Respect the timetable
File the plan before delivering the actions and check the current deadlines with your GIAC. Build the review time into your training calendar.
4. Keep proof of delivery
Attendance sheets, evaluations, invoices and certificates: without these documents, reimbursement cannot be claimed. Organize their collection from the first action.
